These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to both thelittlegroup.sg (main website) and The TLG App (OAuth login portal), as well as all enrichment education programs and services offered by The Little Group.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using The Little Group's websites, applications, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and we will notify you of material changes via email or on our website.

2. Services Description

The Little Group provides enrichment education services and programs including, but not limited to:

  • Little Musician (music instruction and keyboard training)

  • Little Pastry Chef (culinary education)

  • Little Coder (coding and programming education)

  • Little Dancer (dance instruction)

  • Related educational workshops and events

  • Access to class scheduling, attendance tracking, and progress reporting through The TLG App

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

Who Can Use Our Services

  • Students must be enrolled through their parents/guardians

  • Parents/guardians must be at least 18 years old and legally responsible for the student

  • By enrolling, you represent that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms

Account Creation

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials

  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

  • You are responsible for keeping your account information current and accurate

4. Enrollment and Class Registration

Program Enrollment

  • Enrollment does not guarantee acceptance into specific class times or sessions

Class Attendance and Commitment

Prohibited Conduct

Students must not:

  • Damage or misuse facilities or equipment

  • Attend class under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances

  • Violate confidentiality or privacy of other students or staff

  • Disrupt class or interfere with others' learning

Consequences of Misconduct

  • Minor infractions may result in warnings

  • Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension or expulsion

  • We reserve the right to refuse enrollment or continue service to any student whose conduct violates these Terms

7. Health, Safety, and Medical Requirements

Health and Safety Responsibility

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is physically and mentally fit to participate

  • You must disclose all relevant health conditions, allergies, and medical information during enrollment

  • You are responsible for informing us of any changes to medical information or health status

  • The Little Group is not responsible for health conditions or injuries that occur due to non-disclosure of health information

Medical Emergencies

  • In case of medical emergency, we will attempt to contact the emergency contacts provided

  • We may seek medical assistance from emergency services

  • Parents/guardians authorize us to act in their child's best interest during emergencies

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for any medical costs incurred

Special Needs and Accommodations

  • If your child has special needs or requires accommodations, please inform us during enrollment

  • We will work to accommodate reasonable requests, subject to resource availability

  • Some programs may not be suitable for certain health or mobility conditions

8. Liability and Assumption of Risk

Assumption of Risk

By enrolling in our programs, you acknowledge that physical activities may carry inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, injuries, muscle strain, or allergic reactions. You voluntarily assume these risks.

Limitation of Liability

The Little Group is not liable for:

  • Injuries or accidents occurring during or outside of class

  • Loss of personal belongings or equipment

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Any disputes arising from class instruction, grading, or progress evaluation

  • Service interruptions due to technical issues, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control

Waiver of Claims

By enrolling, parents/guardians waive any right to pursue legal claims against The Little Group for injuries or incidents occurring during programs, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Note: Some liability limitations may not apply under Singapore law. This waiver is enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

Program Materials

  • All course materials, lesson plans, handouts, videos, and instructional content created by The Little Group are the intellectual property of The Little Group

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without express written permission

  • Use is limited to personal educational purposes only

Website and Application Content

  • All content on thelittlegroup.sg and The TLG App, including text, graphics, logos, and code, is owned by The Little Group

  • You may view and print content for personal use only

  • You may not scrape, index, or copy content without permission

10. Use of The TLG App

Account Security

  • You are responsible for securing your login credentials

  • Do not share your password with others

  • Log out when using shared devices

  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the application for illegal or unauthorized purposes

  • Attempt to hack, exploit, or compromise system security

  • Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code

  • Access data that does not belong to you

  • Disrupt or interfere with system functionality

  • Use the application for unauthorized data scraping or automated access

Service Availability

  • We make efforts to maintain system availability, but do not guarantee 100% uptime

  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily disrupts service

  • We are not liable for service interruptions or data loss

  • We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms

11. Cancellation and Termination

Cancellation by Student/Parent

  • Programs may be cancelled by providing written notice according to the program's cancellation policy

  • Cancellations must be submitted before the deadline

  • Early cancellation may incur fees as specified in the program terms

  • Refunds for paid but unused classes will be issued according to our refund policy

Termination by The Little Group

We may terminate services immediately if:

  • Payment is not received

  • You violate these Terms of Service

  • Your conduct poses a risk to other students or staff

  • You provide false or fraudulent information

  • Legal or regulatory requirements require termination

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Access to The TLG App may be suspended

  • Unused credits or payments may be forfeited unless refund policy applies

  • You are still responsible for any outstanding fees or charges

  • Intellectual property ownership remains as described in Section 9

12. No Warranties

Disclaimer of Warranties: Our services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We make no warranties that services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations

  • We make no warranties about the quality, accuracy, or reliability of instructor qualifications or student outcomes

  • We make no warranties about third-party services, OAuth authentication, or external tools

  • We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Little Group, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your misuse of our services or facilities

  • Your violation of any third-party rights

  • Any dispute between you and another user

  • Any action or inaction by you that causes harm

14. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us with a detailed description of the issue. We will attempt to resolve the matter within 14 days.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be initiated in the courts of Singapore.

Limitation Period

Any legal action must be brought within one (1) year of the date the cause of action arose.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if not possible, severed. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any program-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Little Group regarding your use of our services. Any prior agreements, negotiations, or understandings are superseded by these Terms.
